Student Ticket Subsidy

The Student Ticket Subsidy program--funded by the Tennessee General Assembly and administered in cooperation with the Tennessee Arts Commission (TAC)--provides funds to public school students to attend arts and cultural events for free or at a greatly reduced rate. Memphis City Schools, Shelby County Schools, and West Tennessee public schools (Benton, Carroll, Crockett, Dyer, Fayette, Gibson, Henry, Lake, Lauderdale, Obion, Tipton, and Weakley counties) are eligible to apply for this grant. The grant process is simple with a one page application completed for each event requested.

ArtsMemphis will begin accepting applications for 2010-2011 events on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 7:00am central time. Applications can be faxed to ArtsMemphis at (901) 578-2784. Please make sure you confirm your fax was sent.  If you are in Shelby County, we strongly encourage you to send your applications in NO LATER THAN, Monday, September 20, 2010, since Shelby County funds go quickly.
