Grant making is at the heart of ArtsMemphis’ mission. It is what we do – funding and nurturing arts groups of all sizes and making our arts community greater than the sum of its parts. ArtsMemphis provides annual support, financial oversight, advocacy and mentoring to many diverse organizations through more than 100 annual grants in nine categories. In FY11 we allocated $2.8 million to the arts community, and over the past 10 years we have given more than $40 million in grant funding to support arts organizations and arts education.
